Mac’s Love Buzz is a clear, golden coloured sparkling Mead, made by fermenting a blend of Kamahi Honey, Clover Honey and Sugar.

Kamahi Honey comes from the flowering Kamahi tree and has a very intense, complex, floral-like aroma and flavour.
By combining the Kamahi Honey with the milder, sweet flavoured Clover gives Mac’s Mead just the right levels of each to allow their individual characters to come through.
The sugar used in the fermentation, as well as the sugar from the honey, is used up by the yeast so at this point a little Manuka Honey and a touch of sugar are blended back in to enhance the sweetness and flavour.

Mac’s Love Buzz is all about the honey, the end result is a light and very refreshing Mead.
